Step 1: Prepare the Koftas.
- Prepare mashed potatoes, grated paneer and cashews, raisins, salt, garam masala and cornstarch in a bowl. Set aside to mix.
- Collaborate and form small balls from the mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas until they are brown in colour.
- Discard the excess oil and reserve it on a tissue.

Step 2: Prepare the Gravy.
- Toss oil and butter in a pan. Toss in cumin seeds and allow them to set.
- Add onion and saute until a golden color is visible.
- Add the ginger and garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
- Put the tomato puree in and cook until oil separates.
- Toss in turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Mix cashew paste and sugar until smooth. Set aside.
