  • 3-4 ripe pears (any variety)
  • 1 cup water (optional, for a lighter consistency
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice (to prevent oxidation and add a fresh taste)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for serving)

    Rinse the pears thoroughly while using running water. Peel them if you like, but keeping the skin adds fiber. Remove the seeds and chop the pears into tiny pieces.
